Alain Cohen is a certified martial arts and Krav Maga coach and lecturer, graduate of Wingate Institute, and member of Wingate guidance committee. He regularly holds various courses and seminars at Wingate Institute in Israel and abroad, and is the co-founder of the official Israeli Krav Maga program of the Wingate Institute.

Gideon is the regional director and foreign representative for KMF-AC in South Korea and has pioneered the spread of Krav Maga here. With almost fourteen years of Krav Maga training, he is the most experienced instructor in Korea and has direct ties to Wingate Institute in Israel. He holds different Black Belt dan levels from two federations and is a contractor with both the US and Korean militaries.
An avid martial arts practitioner since childhood, Gideon began his training in Oakland, California but has traveled extensively to study a myriad of fighting styles in their home countries. He continues to be fascinated by the many different martial arts systems, particularly in regards to their value adding to the growth of Krav Maga. These include Kali, Pangamot, Jujitsu, Silat, Muay Thai, Greco-Roman wrestling, Hapkido, Aikido, and more. Over the years he has worked and trained with many well-known instructors such as Alain Cohen, Danny Zelig, Eyal Yalinov, Darren Levine, Barney Foland, Franz Stroeven, and Everest Pepper, and has learned from some of the most skilled practitioners of Krav Maga and other complementary systems of fighting and self-defense.
